Natalie Frankel

Assistant Director

Biography

Originally from Western North Carolina, Natalie Frankel (she/her) serves as the Assistant Director in the Jones Center for Leadership and Service. In this role, she supports the VOLbreaks and Service Educational Specialists, oversees the ServeUTK portal and service medallions, and she coordinates the Leadership Knoxville Scholars program.

Natalie is passionate about many things including but not limited to pop music, everything related to the great state of North Carolina, and women's sports. Most importantly, she has a deep love for civic engagement, connecting students to the Knoxville community, and helping students discover how they want to create social change. She can be found spending the weekends with her wife and rescue pup - Krieger, trying fun, new restaurants, and exploring all that Knoxville has to offer.
