Assistant Director, Community Engagement

Biography

Originally from Western North Carolina, Natalie Frankel (she/her) serves as the Assistant Director for Service & Community Engagement in the Jones Center for Leadership & Service. In this role, she supports the VOLbreaks and Service Educational Specialists, works with our community partners, and she coordinates the Leadership Knoxville Scholars program.

Natalie is passionate about many things including good music, anything and everything related to the great state of North Carolina, and women's sports. Most importantly, she has a deep love for civic engagement, connecting students to their community, and working with students to discover how they want to create social change. She can be found spending the weekends with her wife and rescue pup - Krieger, watching soccer or basketball, and enjoying all the great things Knoxville has to offer.
