Introduction to Social Issues

Description: According to Human Rights Careers (2021), “Social justice means everyone’s human rights are respected and protected.” But currently that is not the case! Join us as we explore social justice issues as a whole and specific ones within the Knoxville community. During this weekend immersion, participants will get the chance to learn more about the active citizenship continuum, what college students can do to make change, and dive deeper to find their passion for the community.
