Join us for the annual MLK Jr. Day of Service on January 18, 2020 from 8 AM – 12 PM! The day will begin with a light breakfast and a speaker who will discuss the importance of living out the legacy of Dr. King through volunteering. Volunteers will then depart to various service sites surrounding the Knoxville community for a morning of volunteering followed by dedicated time to reflect on the experience.

I registered for the MLK Jr. Day of Service, but I can no longer attend. What should I do?
If you are unable to attend the 2020 MLK Jr. Day of Service, please email email@example.com by January 1, 2020. Cancellations made after this date will not be accepted and students will be charged a $10 program fee. For more information, please our cancellation/no-show hold policy.
How will I get to the service site on the day of the event?
Don’t worry about not having transportation, we’ve got it covered! All students will be transported to their service site by van or bus.
Can I get service hours for participating in the MLK Jr. Day of Service?
Yes! All students will receive 3 hours of community service that can logged through our office.
Can I bring friends or family members to serve with me during MLK?
No. Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate faculty, staff, and students at this time.
