Thank you for your interest in attending a VOLbreak! We offer a limited number of scholarships for participants on a needs-based criteria. Interested participants can request a full or half waiver to aid in trip costs. Selected applicants will need to complete an impact report following their return from the trip. The impact report includes pictures of yourself on the VOLbreak, a 500-word statement sharing what you learned on the trip and how you plan to apply the knowledge in the future, and a thank-you note for our endowment founders.
Please complete the following application before submitting your VOLbreaks registration on ServeUTK. Participants who register on ServeUTK will be held to the financial agreement, regardless of a scholarship application submission. Should you be selected for a scholarship, you will be informed on next steps days after the closing of the application. If you are selected for a scholarship, you will be responsible for covering trip costs if you are no longer able to attend the VOLbreak for any reason.
