The Fee Waiver/Scholarship Application is for any student attending a VOLbreaks trip and interested in receiving financial support. Please note that financial support is not guaranteed; however, we try to support as many students as possible.

Given the limited nature of financial resources, we strive to equitably distribute scholarships to applicants possessing the greatest financial need. We ask participants to consider and honestly share the reasons why a need-based scholarship is needed.

I understand that I must fulfill all VOLbreaks requirements and abide by VOLbreaks policies and procedures. If for any reasons I am unable to fulfill the requirements asked of me, then I will be responsible for paying the full trip cost.(Required)

I understand that if I am selected for a scholarship, I am responsible for submitting an impact report within three weeks of returning from the trip. This includes photos of me on the VOLbreaks, as well as a 500-word essay answering what I gained from my experience and how I will apply what I have learned when I return.
