Director
Biography
A native of Seymour, Tennessee, Mandie Thacker Beeler serves as the Director of the Jones Center for Leadership and Service. In this role, she oversees the Emerging Leadership program, engages campus and community partners to elevate leadership and service, coordinates fundraising initiatives and cultivates donor relationships, and provides direction and support for all programs and course offerings related to the Center’s mission. She is passionate about civic and community engagement, volunteerism, and active citizenship. Beeler's doctoral research focused on the role of required volunteerism and service-learning and students’ perceptions of civic responsibility.
For fun, Mandie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and traveling to visit friends and the beach.
