Ignite Leadership Summit is a three-day leadership retreat for incoming students that gives them an opportunity to connect with other students, learn UT traditions and discover who they are as leaders. An important feature of Ignite Leadership Summit is the opportunity for students to connect with staff members who serve as our Ignite Facilitators!
As a facilitator, you would co-advise a small group of incoming students along with two Ignite Team Leaders (current UT student leaders) over the course of the session. Ignite Leadership Summit is led by 20 Ignite Team Leaders, and will be offered to 200 eager & excited new Vols!
This year’s Leadership Summit will be held August 13-15, 2021 at Carson Springs in Newport, TN. As a facilitator, we do ask that you attend the entire program, so that you can establish a strong connection with the participating students.
Additional Time Commitments
- Ignite Team Leader class: Tuesday, April 13th from 2:50-5:35pm to meet your Team Leaders
- Two meetings with your TL pair (virtual or in-person, scheduled at your convenience)
